Our client is the digital division of a well-known holding in the area of consumer goods. This division provides all the technical solutions for the digital activities of the holding in Austria, as well as the central- and eastern-european markets. They are responsible for websites, online shops, apps, APIs, backend systems, as well as the hosting of all these solutions.

Job responsibilities:

  • You and your colleagues work on the company's Business Platform which follows a microservice architecture
  • You help within the eCommerce and Omnichannel sector to build innovative solutions that satisfies the customers
  • By using Unit-, Integration- or Load Tests you and your team make sure that the applications are up to the clients quality standards
  • Interdisciplinary teams plan and develop modules in an agile environment
  • Teams organize and elaborate how to successfully tackle their challenges


  • Successfully completed education in IT (FH, University) or comparable qualifications
  • Several years of experience in software development
  • Excellent knowledge in the Java stack
  • Knowledge in Spring Boot, Gradle, RabbitMQ, Elastic, Oracle, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience in the areas of SQL and queuing system are advantages
  • Strong communication skills in discussions about problems and solution finding
  • Curious personality - asking questions about existing solutions and dive into new technologies - thinking out of the box
  • Very good command of English, German is an advantage

The annual gross salary starts from EUR 45.000,- depending on experience and qualifications.
