Our client belongs to a group, which is a global provider of equipment, technology and systems producing the purest water and treating the most challenging wastewater in the industry. The group operates in some 15 countries with approximately 1000 employees.

Serving Electronics and Semiconductor Industry with water management solutions in ultrapure generation water and wastewater treatment, our client wants to strengthen the Engineering Team in the Graz-area-office and therefore seeks for a highly skilled person.

  • Responsible for the process designs, design integrity, competitive pricing and compliance of equipment with customer specifications for small and medium-sized projects
  • Technical assistance to all departments (Sales, Project-Management, Commissioning, Parts&Service and others)
  • Preparing and updating process design calculations
  • Issuance of design and engineering documents for proposals and projects
  • Participation/assistance to start-up activities for training and for process optimizing purpose
  • Performance of system certifications
  • Standardization of processes, systems and process documents (including HAZOP studies)
  • Preparation of documents for internal and external trainings (staff, customer)
  • Studies of technical literature / participation to symposia and workshops for training purpose

Skills and assets:

  • Degree (Engineer or Master) in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering or any discipline related to water treatment
  • A minimum related experience, up to three years, and / or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, analyse and interpret complex industry related documents
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload and making on-the-spot decisions as well as flexibility to adjust to rapid changes in work conditions
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills
  • Excellent skills of effective verbal & written communication
  • Conscientious and pro-active personality, able to work independently and under own initiative
  • Ability to international travels (to customer/constructions sites or to other group offices) and willing to undertake additional training as required
  • Working languages: German and English
  • Unlimited work permit necessary
  • Driving License B necessary

Depending on education and professional experience a monthly collectively minimum salary of EUR 3.015,00 (gross) for full-time-employment (38,5 hours/week) applies to this position. Overpayment due to education and work-experience possible.
